Is installation really that simple?
Yes. Turn off the breaker, remove your existing outlet cover, install the new plate, replace the screw and turn the power back on.
No special tools, batteries or electrical rewiring are required.
Which outlets does it fit?
It is designed for standard 120V duplex, décor and GFCI receptacles.
Choose the version that matches your outlet type.
It is not compatible with USB outlets, dimmers or smart outlets. GFCI outlets require the matching GFCI version.
Is the light too bright for sleeping areas?
No. It produces a soft, warm 3700K downward-facing glow designed to provide visibility without filling the room with harsh light.
You can choose between bright, dim or off depending on the room.
How much electricity does it use?
Very little.
The light uses approximately 0.24 watts on the bright setting and only about 0.0036 watts during daylight hours when the sensor has switched the LEDs off.
That translates to only a small amount of electricity each year.
